DIVISIONS REPRESENTED:

MEAT PACKING DIVISION

UFCW Local 431 represents over 5450 meat packing & processing workers in 7 facilities. Our members work in beef packing, pork packing, casings, and gelatin production.

HEALTH CARE DIVISION

UFCW Local 431 represents over 1750 health care workers at 13 facilities. Our members work in hospitals, doctors' clinics, intermediate care facilites, and nursing care facilities. We represent RN's, LPN's, and service workers.

MANUFACTURING DIVISION

UFCW Local 431 represents over 1300 manufacturing workers at 14 facilities. Our members work in poultry processing, soybean processing, dog food manufacturing, canning, box manufacturing, clothing manufacturing, rendering, egg kindling, bottling, plastic manufacturing & pattie processing.

RETAIL DIVISION

UFCW Local 431 represents over 200 retail workers in 16 locations. Our members work in grocery stores and bakery thrift shops. We represent clerk, and meat & deli workers.

MISCELLANEOUS

UFCW Local 431 represents over 340 workers in 7 facilities. Our members work in service organizations, refrigerated warehouses, cafeterias, hotels, child & family development, and city maintenance.

BARBERS

UFCW Local 431 represents a number of barbers & cosemetologists in Iowa & Illinois.
